Andrew L. Jensen, M.A. is a Psychological Practitioner licensed in Kentucky and has practiced psychology for the past 18 years. He was a non-traditional student, obtaining his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. Following his graduation Mr. Jensen worked ten years for the Pennyroyal Mental Health Center in Madisonville, KY. During this period he did contract work for a psychiatric hospital in Hopkinsville, performing psychological evaluations to aid in diagnosing mental health disorders. In 1999 he began working for Hopkinsville Family Counseling Center as a therapist and as the Director of their adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program.

In December of 2001 Mr. Jensen, along with Dr. Henry Davis and Dr. Robert Hobson, formed The Psychology Group. This private practice serves children, adolescents, and adults, and accepts most insurance, including Tricare.

Mr. Jensen has extensive experience with a wide range of mental health issues. He works with individuals, families, couples and groups. He diagnose and treats disorders related to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, behavior, learning, memory and personality. Mr. Jensen has performed psychological evaluations for the courts, attorneys, schools, physicians and aided in disability claims. He has also provided services to the military population through the Department of Defense sponsored Military Family Life Consultant program.

In 2008 Mr. Jensen was selected as the "Best of the Best" by Military One Source. He was one of six clinicians chosen from 8000 from across the country to receive this honor. Mr. Jensen is a member of the Kentucky Psychological Association and served on their Board of Directors as KPA's Representative for Western Kentucky for two terms. 

He and his wife, Peggy, live in Hopkinsville. They have two daughters and are proud grandparents.
